faq

q: what's the deal with the untracked shipping?
a: untracked shipping will be sent out with stamps as opposed to a packing label with tracking information. this is to provide a lower cost alternative for people who want small things (especially for my international people out there), HOWEVER there is an inherent risk that the envelope may end up getting lost! i'd say this happens like, maybe 1% of the time, but it's still a risk. these envelopes will also arrive more slowly compared to tracked packages, especially internationally. if this were to happen, and you haven't received your order in two months (one month for domestic orders) please reach out with your order number, and i will either send a replacement package, or refund your order (the latter especially if the item(s) were limited quantity).

q: why can i only use untracked shipping for stickers and postcards?
a: this is just due to the weight and size of certain items; bigger things cost more to ship, and i'd just rather ship those items with tracking so that it's less likely for them to get lost. i'd also rather ship more fragile/scarce items with tracking as well, for your sake and mine, hence why the zines need tracking as well.

q: why is international shipping so expensive? is there any way to make it cheaper?
a: unfortunately, as a small business (one person by themself), the price for shipping generally is out of my control! bigger companies make deals with shipping companies to lower prices, whereas basically any small business you see is subject to the prices mailing services provide (or, include the price of the shipping in the items--i want my prices to be as accessible as possible, so the rates i charge for shipping are to cover the costs involved). i know it sucks to pay more for shipping than for the item itself, but there's nothing i can do about it :(

q: do you ship to (insert country here)?
a: most likely, yes! i've had success with shipping to several countries, including the US, canada, australia, england, france, germany, mexico, and more!

q: where will these items be coming from?
a: portland, maine! america's second favorite portland.

q: who do you use to manufacture your items?
this varies from item to item, but past printers and manufacturers i've used include mixam, sticker orchard, stickerapp, vistaprint, moo print, and local access to a risograph printer.
